


Isabel Flick is a Mexican-American artist and poet based in Saint Louis, Missouri. Her work has been showcased in many national galleries and publications. She received an Associates of Education from Saint Louis Community College and a Bachelor’s in Studio Art from the University of Missouri - Saint Louis. She has been published in magazines such as Hood of Bone Review, Thimble Literary Magazine, Prudence Dispatch, and Pink Panther Magazine. She has also been nominated for the 2025 Pushcart Prize and is the recent winner of Phil Lit Journal's Winter Poetry Contest.
You can find Isabel with her nose buried in a book or writing at her typewriter, or even out and about exploring the country, most notably her favorite stretch of American highway, Route 66 with all the other roadies. You might even find her hiding in the Carousel Room at House on the Rock.
